The startup uses an eCommerce website, call center, and mobile USSD code *284# options from which customers can access and buy genuine farm inputs. Startups that didn’t win from each group will also get a chance to work with the anchor partners attached in each category to fine-tune their ideas for a period of time to make it a successful innovation. Startup Uganda believes that just because a Startup didn’t end up bagging the prize money or winning in it’s category it shouldn’t be left to hustle around or look for another innovation challenge to compete in. Instead they have designed special packages like a free field trainings from the anchor partners to see that the various startups at least throw a paint on the wall to see what sticks around or not.
