Design

The design is simple and classy, although, it is quite sizable at 46mm. However, the screen is seamlessly curved and coupled with the round shape, you don’t really feel the big size. There are two dials. on the side, one of which has ‘ONEPLUS’ engraved on it. The standard model which is called the ‘Classic Edition’ watch has a stainless steel finish with different options of the easily replaceable moonlight silver and midnight black rubber strap. On the other hand, there is the Limited Edition with a cobalt alloy body which somewhat has a warm golden finish and it comes with a leather strap.

Build

As stated earlier, the smartwatch is round which minimizes the fairly large size and makes it comfy in the hand. According to OnePlus, each watch is hand polished and the Limited Edition with a cobalt frame is so difficult to work with that half of it often don’t gets approved for customer use. The OnePlus Watch has an IP68 certification which means it is dust and water resistant up to 5ATM. It looks quite durable and has a compact design that is slim and smug on the wrist.

Display

There is a 1.39-inch display which is curved into the watch frame. The screen has a 326ppi pixel density plus and an AMOLED panel to boot. OnePlus offers 50 different watch faces for you to pick from and a nice sapphire glass on its Limited edition that makes the display even cooler.

Features

When it comes to functionality, the OnePlus Watch is equipped with a geomagnetic sensor, optical heart rate sensor, blood oxygen monitor, acceleration sensor, altimeter and GPS. Not to mention that the smartwatch has support for 110 workout modes which makes monitoring your fitness even more exciting. You can store up to 500 songs on the go on your smartwatch which you can listen to on earphones wirelessly through Bluetooth. You can answer calls and read notification from your phone on the OnePlus Watch. When paired with OnePlus TV, you can use your watch as remote control and it also slows down the TV volume when you receive a call on the watch. Battery

OnePlus promises a full 2 weeks of use on a full charge with the OnePlus watch according to the industry battery testing standard…whatever that is. With the Warp Charging technology of OnePlus, 20 minutes of charge will give you 1-week usage. Nonetheless, heavy usage will cut the 2 weeks usage time on a full charge in half. OnePlus Watch Pricing

The standard Edition of the OnePlus Watch goes for USD159 in America, 159 euros in the UK and 16, 999 rupees in India. The pricing of the Limited Edition has not been announced yet, this post will be updated when it does.

Conclusion

The OnePlus Watch comes with about everything other smartwatches in the market offers at the moment. Tick all the right boxes and the round design is a nice touch as well in my opinion. There’s a solid screen and nice features to work with, but nothing out of the ordinary to see here for a smartwatch with its price.
